  • I AM HUMANITY was founded in 2020 and became a not-for-profit organization registered in the United States as a USC 501(C)(3) in 2021.  I AM HUMANITY engages humanity in the exploration of what it means for humanity to flourish for millennia and how humanity will accomplish that mission. I am HUMANITY provides an outlet for the expression of that possibility in dialog, engaging thought leaders and the global public fostering global awareness and empowering individuals to embrace and declare their belonging to humanity and to discover how to serve our collective flourishing.  

    I AM HUMANITY declared and hosted the first Humanity Day in 2022 and expanded to include 53 countries by Humanity Day 2025 and awarded the annual Humanity Flourishing Prize in 2024 and in 2025 while still an all-volunteer organization.

  • Humanity Day is simply a day to celebrate humanity.  

    It is the signature project of I AM HUMANITY; a not-for-profit organization registered in Colorado USA.  I AM HUMANITY stands for Humanity Flourishing for millennia to come.  Humanity Day kick-off was streamed online in 2022.  The celebration grew to 53 countries in 2025.  Our vision is to have the whole world celebrating humanity until one day we operate from humanity flourishing.

    Vision/Mission/Purpose

     World Humanitarian Day is an international day distinct from Humanity Day dedicated to recognize humanitarian personnel and those who have died working for humanitarian causes It was designated by the United Nations General Assembly as part of a Swedish-sponsored General Assembly Resolution on "Strengthening of the Coordination of Emergency Assistance of the United Nations," and designated 19 August as World Humanitarian Day for the purpose of "increasing public awareness about humanitarian assistance activities worldwide and the importance of international cooperation in this regard, as well as to honor all humanitarian and United Nations and associated personnel who have worked in the promotion of the humanitarian cause and those who have lost their lives in the cause of duty."

  • Your donation supports a Global Awareness Campaign, weekly, monthly and annual events, media news and networking collaborations.  We are also encouraging a growing digital database with the goal of creating a substantial body of knowledge oriented to Humanity Flourishing with collaborative contribution and highlighting those who contribute to Humanity Flourishing for Millennia to Come.   Our Humanity Flourishing Prize contributes greatly to this endeavor. 

    Having humanity choose collectively to recognize ourselves as humanity and to stand for a new future of flourishing is a global awareness campaign.
